Suzanne Major signs her paintings \u201cSuzMajor\u201d. She has been painting for the past 30 years. She has participated in symposiums from 2000 to 2010. After that she concentrated her energies on completing a PhD degree in Anthropology of early childhood education. Her focus is education of young children and education to the environment.<\/p>\n
She has worked 12 years as Director of the Early Childhood Studies Program of the University of Montreal. She was a teacher in the program for 19 years. She has retired from her full-time position to work as a consultant, writer and artist. She just completed a contract with the NAAEE (National American Association for Environmental Education) that spanned from 2017 to 2024 writing about education to the environment.<\/p>\n
She moved to New Brunswick in July of 2022 and settled in the beautiful village of Doaktown in the Dickison House 1895 were she was able to set up a small studio with her husband Christian Cailliau who also paints with water colours.<\/p>\n

Elle a \u00e9t\u00e9 directrice du programme petite enfance de l\u2019Universit\u00e9 de Montr\u00e9al pendant 12 ans et a enseign\u00e9 dans ce m\u00eame programme pendant 19 ans. Elle a pris sa retraite de son poste \u00e0 temps plein pour travailler comme consultante, auteure et artiste. Elle vient tout juste de compl\u00e9ter un contrat avec la NAAEE (National American Association for Environmental Education) qui s\u2019est ex\u00e9cut\u00e9 de 2017 \u00e0 2024 sur l\u2019\u00e9ducation \u00e0 l\u2019environnement.<\/p>\n
Elle s\u2019est install\u00e9e au Nouveau Brunswick en juillet 2022 dans le beau village de Doaktown dans la maison Dickison 1895 o\u00f9 se trouve un petit studio. Elle y exhibe ses \u0153uvres avec celles de son mari Christian Cailliau qui est aquarelliste.<\/p>\n
