On May 19th a ZOOM meeting was held to finally get together for the first time in over a year.
Several took place from both Miramichi Art Core and the Bathurst Art Society. Some tentative plans were made for the remainder of this year and for a theme based project for 2022.
Check back for more details on what will be planned for this fall and next year. A mail-out to members will be made shortly with minutes of our discussions.
A new VR Gallery is now on-line. A gallery for the “Seasons of Northern NB” show that was held in 2016 is has been created.
If you took part in this show you should forward photos of the artwork that you completed for the show to info@arttellsstories.ca. It takes a few hours to add your art to the gallery. It is hoped that by Sept 2021 that the majority of the artwork will be on display in the gallery.
You can view the gallery from the main menu under the VR Gallery menu selection. Comments or suggestions appreciated.
The Art Tells Stories website now has connections to the 3d VR galleries that were done for some of the “Art Tells Stories” projects. The virtual reality galleries of Past and Present, The Age of Sail and The Art of Music projects can now be viewed from the website.
We are now working on another ATS VR gallery – Seasons of Northern NB. Should be built and populated with Art by Sept 2021. It is a somewhat slow process – sorry.
IF YOU DID PAINTINGS FOR THE PROJECT AND WOULD LIKE THEM IN THE VR GALLERY THEN SEND THEM ALONG. NO LATER THAN AUG 1.
Use the contact page to make arrangements to have your paintings included in this new gallery.
